The app allows you to store your personal bookmarks, like you can do in any browser, but with that difference that these bookmarks are stored in a central database, which makes them accessible from basically everywhere, on any device connected to the internet.
Furthermore, Amalite© enables you to store your passwords and credentials in a single location. Easy access with your authenticated user and fully encrypted, so that your credentials are safely stored in the database.

The only thing to start using the application is to register yourself, choose a password and start adding your stuff.

Features

User Management

When a user wants to use the website, depending on whether he or she has already logged on to the website, the user can:

  • Create a new user profile, meaning that the user has no username and password to log on to the website.
  • Manage his or her user profile, meaning that the user has already created a username and password to log on to the website. The User can then change user profile details like password, name, addresses....
  • Log on to the website with his or her username and password combination. Once logged in, the user is in his or her own private workspace.
  • Log off of the website, when entering the website the next time, the credentials need to be re-entered.

Bookmarks Display

Bookmarks are links to websites you visit a lot, or to which you want to have a quick access, without looking up the URL each time you want to open it. Bookmarks can be filtered in different ways:

  • Tag filter:You can attach tags to your bookmarks, enabling you to categorize them. Filtering by tag means that only the bookmarks to which the selected tag is attached will be displayed.
  • Text filter:you can enter a word or part of a word. Bookmarks will be filtered, and only the bookmarks containing the entered text, in the title or tag, will be displayed. The User can then change user profile details like password, name, addresses....
  • Favorites filter: Each bookmark, has the possibility to be defined as a favorite. These are sites you currently use for example. When filtering on the favorites, only the bookmarks marked as favorite will be displayed on the list.

Bookmarks Management

On the site, a user is able to create, update and delete his or her bookmarks.

  • Create bookmark:A title, URL, one or more tags can be entered. Additionally, the user is also able to mark the new bookmark as a favorite.
  • Update bookmark:The user can update title and URL. Adding and removing tags happens via the tag edit box. Additionally, the user is also able to mark the existing bookmark as a favorite The User can then change user profile details like password, name, addresses....
  • Delete bookmark: A user is able to remove a bookmark permanently from the database, the management screen serves as a confirmation screen for the delete.

Credentials Display

Credentials are sensitive pieces of data which probably all have a different password etc... To resolve the issue of having to know all the passwords, we provide a single point of access where all these credentials can be stored. Credentials can be filtered by entering a text string in the search box: you can enter a word or part of a word. Credentials will be filtered, and only the Credentials containing the entered text, in the service name or type, will be displayed.
